NEWS UPDATE: Journalists have been urged not to disseminate wrong information to the public. This after allegations that the NRM secretary General , prime minister Amama Mbabazi had been demoted and replaced by Hon. Richard Todwong. A statement from state house says the rumors which have been circulating in the media are distortions purporting to be re-laying the conclusions of NRM Caucus meetings. The statement also adds that on account of being busy as prime Minister, the president sometime last year appointed Hon. Richard Todwong as Minister without portfolio in charge of mobilization to help the Secretary General run the day to day activities of mass political work , adding that he is however not the secretary General.
