NEWS UPDATE MBARARA ACCIDENT Following an accident in Kabwohe yesterday involving several prisoners who were riding on the back of a truck, information reaching NTV is that eight people are nursing wounds. The spokesperson of Uganda Prisons Service Publicist Frank Baine said one prisons’ officer is in critical condition in Mbarara hospital while seven others were seriously injured. The accident left 5 inmates dead after the driver lost control of the truck which was carrying firewood.
