NEWS UPDATE: Wellington has adopted an ordinance relating to the regulation of ANY AND ALL residential rental units within Wellington. Wellington Ordinance Chapter 71 requires the owner of ANY rental dwelling unit located within Wellington obtain a Rental Dwelling Unit License. An initial, nonrefundable license fee in the amount of $75.00 per license for each rental dwelling unit shall be assessed. The owner shall pay an initial inspection fee of $25.00. A rental unit license expires on October 1 of each year. An application renewal shall be filed with the department at least 60 days prior to October 1 of each year.
