NEWS: With only a few hours left of the transfer window the hunt continues for the new club address for John Guidetti. Its a race against the clock. Meanwhile the Swedish U21 team will meet tomorrow in Halmstad ahead of the two crucial UEFA U21 European Championship qualifying matches. - I am expecting John to arrive but at the same time I know theres a lot now happening around him, said coach Håkan Ericson to Sportbladet this weekend. But I cannot comment on any details on John. What is his current fitness? - John was in good fitness when he played with us early in the spring. He was better on the pitch in comparison to the players in our squad and in the opposing teams plus he added value off the pitch as well. Since then, he has made appearances in Stoke, played in friendlies in preseason with Manchester City and has been in a high quality training environment daily. I am convinced that he is in even better shape now. The U21 National Team gathers in Halmstad tomorrow at 1:00 PM but the management does not know yet when John Guidetti will arrive. - It is a very special situation around John. Everyone knows what day it is today, John has his business he needs to solve. He has not yet booked trip to the gathering, says Sweden administrator Lars-Erik Hemgren.
