NEWSFLASH!! We would like to share the following TENTATIVE proposal to all of you and get a sense of how you would feel about it. Short and concise comments would be appreciated. This post is not being designed for hours of chat...lol. The proposal is VERY time-sensitive. How would you feel about a full-page ad in The Chronicle-Herald listing the name (with your permission, of course, should you wish to be included) of every Nova Scotian here who will either be in or facing DSC during the holiday season? We will create a mock ad for your perusal and feedback. The message would be one of building an awareness of the plight of Nova Scotians, building awareness of this page, our goal, perhaps shame the powers that be to stop the DSCs. Or anything else you may wish to have considered. We would not use it as an opportunity to vent (although that will be integrated into the message in a positive way). I am awaiting a call re costs and I know they are high. We have over 8,500 persons in this group and my first thought was $1 from everyone would surely put us in the ball park, I would trust! So there is still information to be collected before we can make a decision to go or no. In the meantime, please feedback. All feedback is valued, positive or negative. Once feedback has been received, once we have all the information in place, and it is a go...I will post a poll that will ask the questions in order for us to pull it all together!
