Well done to all our competitors CHRISTMAS @ SOUTH PORT SLSC We had great weather this year. Congratulations to the winners of the Long/Short swim. The Flipper throw was won by Jack Eastwood. The sand castles were all amazing. Santa visited us with pressies. Adelaide Golden Roast supplied us with fantastic food. I would like to thank Carla Z, Nicole C, Graham, both Michelles, Steve N, Ben, Holly, Kim, Olly, Vonnie, Wal, bar staff, Andrew and Kelly for your help and support during the day. And any one that I have missed. The results of the Christmas Raffle are as follows: 1st - Janet Puplett, 2nd - Janet Puplett, 3rd - Cakebread Family, 4th Ros Day, 5th Costello Family, 6th - Steph Baggs, 7th - Zee, 8th - Steve Nahlous, 9th - Eye Spy and 10th went to the Flynn Family. Congratulations to all winners. We received fantastic support from the community with donations this year. After putting $150 back in the till for Christmas supplies we made a profit of $332.80 for the club. We made $129 from the Meat raffle. Thank you to everyone who sold / brought tickets. Melinda Broad UNDER 14S & 15S YOUTH DEVELOPMENT CAMP - ROBE 8TH TO 10TH JANUARY 2015 Open to all members in the above two age groups, Mark Orr and I would like to invite all those age group members to Robe On Thursday 8th January 2015, returning, Saturday 10th January. Cost for our trip including, all travel, food and accommodation at the Robe Caravan Park is approximately $150 pp (dependant on number of participants). This is not expected to go over, however, we do need to fill 12 places minimum for this to be a success (with a maximum of 20 places available). If you decide to jump the bar & help yourself to a refreshment the bar has a motion sensor alarm set in it. A bar key and security code is the only access. Many hands make light work so we are calling on helpers on the 27th of December to help out at the Bunnings BBQ, we need at least 6 people per session to run this very busy BBQ session times are 8-11, 11-2 and 2-5 any help would be fantastic as this is a great fundraiser for the club bringing in approx. $2,000.
