Kings School production of Amadeus 11th - 13th December, 7.30 pm The Kings School Focus Theatres second production of the year will be Peter Shaffers Amadeus directed by Kings Sixth Form student Marissa Landy. Amadeus combines fiction and history to detail the final years of Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart. The play also focuses on Antonio Salieri, an older composer who, propelled by jealousy, plots the tragic downfall of his rival, Mozart. With a cast of twelve Sixth Formers, the play is a Total Theatre Production which follows an experimental form with multi-sensory elements. It is an extremely humorous production, full of surprises, not least a female lead playing Salieri (and Mozart)!
