NEXT WEEKS COLD WILL HURT LOOK FOR OTHERS TO CATCH ON FAST. The cold posts I have put out there for the last week plus was for the 11-15 day and beyond. We are now entering that time period. The cold sinks in early next week and then goes WILD by mid next week as we round the corner to early Feb. The EUROPEAN model ensembles are fantastically cold with something BIG sitting off the east coast. Let me remind you all. Winter rarely stays in one mode. Weve been in two this year. Overpowering cold and no snow .. Moderately cold and more rain than snow. I believe we are about to enter a new phase. Deep cold and snow. Again... this is my opinion...I am not really interested in what the naysayers are posting. Meteorology is a business and in the business world its competitive. While I respect counter points I also have a multi-million dollar station I have to represent and a personal brand to defend. In order to represent my organization I invest a lot of time into my forecasts.
