NFS Ok..Try this again... Lets keep it positive. I know people say theres no presetence on a Wells Fargo Gun being just that. Some say if its marked Wells Fargo then its the first sign of a fake. So if it doesnt say Wells Fargo that means its real?...lol This is the closest thing I think youll find because of who the owner was and this came from the owners family. The prison the owner worked for was on the Wells Fargo route and the story goes he purchased it from the Wells Fargo employee. Either way still a nice shotgun. Great story I hope tall enjoy it. Made in 1877 Parker coach gun under lifter action hammer gun 12 bore Widows peak steel butt plate Marked on concave barrel rib as stub twist Wells Fargo marked on action flat Barrel flats marked Deer Lodge Montana Territorial Prison With patent date April 11, 1876 Action flats also marked Frank Connely 24 This coach gun was owned by Montanas Territorial Prisons first Warden One of the coolest iv ever held 9 PHOTOS . I know the pics are prointing strangely but was the best for viewing. Any questions on markings fire away!!!
