NGIGE CAMPAIGN GROUP ALLEGES PLOT TO RIG ANAMBRA GUBER POLL The Chris Ngige Campaign Organisation says it has uncovered plans to “systematically” rig its candidate out of the 16 November Anambra governorship election. Chief George Muoghalu, the Director-General of the organisation made the allegation at a news briefing in Awka on Tuesday. Muoghalu alleged that there were plans to delay the distribution of materials as well as disenfranchise voters in areas considered to be the stronghold of the All Progressives Congress, APC. “We have received reliable information of a plan to make sure that election materials for the 16 November election are delivered late in areas apparently considered to be our areas of strength. “Not only to bring materials late but to also unleash thugs in those areas all in an attempt to disenfranchise the voters,” he said.
