NHIF AND ELGEYO COUNTY GOVERNMENT SIGN M.O.U TO COVER THE ELDERLY FOR OVER KSHS 4 MILLION ;- Elgeyo Marakwet county government has signed a memorandum of understanding with the National Hospital Insurance Fund (N.H.I.F), to insure the elderly to a tune of over Kshs 4 million. The insurance cover Will be available to those aged over 70 years across the county. It Will initially be available to 127 persons per ward. The signing ceremony was witnessed between the NHIF CEO and the EMC Governor.
