NICARAGUA UPDATE: Today marked the first full day of our time in Nicaragua. After the long day of travel on Monday, the team was anxious to begin ministry. We began the day with a hike up to a cross overlooking Jinotega. It was pretty taxing and MOST everyone enjoyed it (at least they enjoyed the view from the top). We began a little bit later today because of Monday so only had a half day at our project sites after the morning team time and orientation. Both groups came back excited about the rest of the week. La Concordia had more kids than they thought and Yali experienced firsthand the mantra of staying flexible on a mission trip. They asked us to have a 45 minute assembly with 300 1st-8th grade students at their school on Wednesday. Should be awesome. Thank you for your prayers and continue to pray. Everyone has a positive attitude and is eager to see how God can use them. Pray that the team will walk in faith and boldness as we seek to encourage our brothers and sisters in Jinotega.
