NIGERIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION SHOULD SHUT UP I find the statement - TopicsExpress

NIGERIA FOOTBALL FEDERATION SHOULD SHUT UP I find the statement credited to Seyi Akinwunmi, the new Vice President of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) that Nigeria is interested in hosting the AFCON 2015 slated for January - February 2015 as crazy and insensitive. He should be cautioned. He should not be allowed to represent NFF in sensitive meetings. I doubt his ability to appreciate issues from a broad spectrum. Does he take Morocco football managers as dumb? The Moroccans are making a valid point: postpone the AFCON competition to a later date in 2015 in view of the Ebola crisis. I share the position of the Moroccans. The competition will usher millions of football fans into Morocco. It wont be possible to screen or test all coming into the country for the competition of Ebola. The facilities are not. Morocco is not so endowed in public health management. They know it, and they dont want to endanger the nationals. Right thinking, demonstration of patriotism and case of refusal to be gullible. The goal diggers in African Football Confederation (AFC) should hearken to the voice of reason. The Moroccans have a valid reason. There is no harm in postponing the competition. The managers of continental and global football are playing god. They behave like slave masters; authoritarian and exploitative. AFC is thinking of the likely financial loss, if the competition is postponed. What of the health implications across Africa? Dummies! The State member federations of AFC should support Morocco. The Nigeria Football Federation should not import Ebola into the country with its greed. Nigeria does not need to host the competition in 2015. If Seyi Akinwunmi has thought well, he would have know that his overture to AFC is against our national health security. Also, the competition is expected to be hosted between January - February 2015 when the countrys electoral process will be insist height. I hereby call upon the Federal Government and Nigerians of good conscience not to buy into the NFF death trap for the country. The interest of the NFF is capital and Super Eagles defending the cup, these are childish when compared with the lives of Nigerians. If Supers Eagles fail to qualify for the competition, so be it. Let the suicidal wish stop now!
