NIGERIA I HAIL THEE: Absolutely disappointed with the situation in our airports, especially Murtala Muhammed International Airport when compared to the intl airports of other countries. Dubai and Moscow Intl airports which I used are so organised and equipped with modern facilities. Today, on arriving Lagos from Dubai, I had to wait for more than 30mins inside the aircraft after the plane landed cuz the elevator in the airport had fault. Inside the airport, rain was dripping and most places were flooded. I had to take off my winter suit cuz the whole places was stuffy and hot, the Air conditioners were not working. Nigerians who arrived from Dubai didnt help matters as they cud have been a stampede simply because the whole place was crowded and they refused to stand in lines for their passports to be stamped by the immigration. Our airports are eyesores when compared to that of other countries yet one person cud dip her hands in to the aviation purse to buy 2 armoured cars worth N255m for herself alone. May God help us!
