NIGERIA IS BROKE.... 1. Governor Rotimi Chibuike Amaechi of Rivers State, who, as NGF Chairman, dragged the Federal government to court over unlawful deductions by the Federal government, if you may recall, has been vindicated. 2. The battles between the Federal government and State Governors, over the set up of the sovereign Wealth fund which NFG, under the stable leadership of Governor Amaechi opposed, was for the good of all Nigerians, but he was greatly misunderstood, maligned and blacklisted by some simple-minded fellows. 3. The NGF before today, was the strongest pressure group against the wastefulness of the Federal government under Jonathans rulership. 4. This is what Amaechi meant when he said, I have no personal problem with President Jonathan, we only disagree on principle, and that is true. Those who cant stand Amaechi cashed in on this to further widen the gulf between the duo. 5. I have always maintained that NGF under Governor Chibuike Amaechis leadership is like what NLC was under the Leadership of Adams Oshiomole. It was the biggest opposition to Former President Olusegun Obasanjo. Finally, I hope that some of these Governors will openly apologies publicly for betraying Nigerians. May God bless Governor Amaechi and every true democrats in Nigeria.
