NIGERIA LETS WAKE UP FROM OUR SLUMBER In the last few days, I have been reading about some of the best countries in the world. I want to know why they have impressive GDP, social support, generosity, freedom from corruption, good life expectancy, Freedom of making choices, low crime rate, great health care system etc. all because I desire from the bottom of my heart that Nigeria becomes like them. Iceland for instance has no Army and their banks don?t have policemen, literate rate is 99.9 percent, 64% of Canadians donate their monies to charity (not spraying fuji musicians and buying Range rovers), University in Sweden is free and they offer about 16 months parental leave, they are closing the Prisons in Holland, because they don?t have criminals to occupy the prisons. Tranquility, punctuality, safety and reliability are the words used to describe Switzerland. In Denmark, government offers 7.8 cents per kilometer to the people traveling by bicycle instead of a car. These countries do not have as many churches and mosques like Nigeria, they do not hold as many religious programs as we do, the use of marijuana is even decriminalized in most of these countries, how come we are always at the bottom when they are taking into account the variables that make a country habitable? Despite our so called closeness to God, we are such a vain and corrupt nation, we want to be richer than our neighbor at all cost, so that we can oppress them. We need a National repentance, we need to know the true meaning of love, we need to begin to value people regardless of their class. We need to stop over-reliance on the supernatural while we neglect playing our parts, 365 days of prayer and fasting will not change Nigeria, the gathering of all the priests and imams will change nothing, sending gays to the guillotine will not make us a better country, we are a religious country with a very high level of hypocrisy, we need a rebirth. Nigeria can be great, it begins with ME and YOU. #Prinze
