**NIGERIAN FG ORDERS 53 SOLID GOLD IPHONE 5S TO CELEBRATE 53RD INDEPENDENCE ANNIVERSARY. COULD COST UP TO N12.5 MILLION PER PHONE!*** A few days ago Apple announced the release of their latest models the iPhone 5c and iPhone 5s. The 5c is the cheaper model with plastic finish, while the 5s is the aluminum finish. A business man based in Dubai, Amjad Ali who supplies royal families, customers across Russia, China and the Middle East with gold-plated devices that cost up to £50,000. Ali says he is fulfilling an order from the Nigerian FG for 53 solid gold iPhones to mark the country’s 53rd year of independence from Britain on October 1st. He says the solid gold phones will be engraved with the coat of arms, a shield and two horses. Basic models in gold or rose gold cost from £3,000, while the most expensive at £50,000 is a gold iPhone studded with hundreds of diamonds, including a giant piece that served as the device’s “home” button. No word on how much each device ordered for the Nigerian government costs… But if each phone costs £50k (N12.5Million per phone), 53 phones is N663 Million! I have no words… THOUGHTS???
