NIGERIAN LEGION AND ESIT EKET PEOPLE DRUMS SUPPORT FOR PDP, CAMPAIGN COMMITTEES INAUGURATED Activities marking the 2015 Armed forces Remembrance Day celebration rounded up in Esit Eket yesterday. The ceremony which was held at the Esit Eket local Government cenotaph became another platform for Udom Emmanuel and PDP supporters to canvass for voters to vote for their candidates as elders, women and youths from the local Government council trooped in from all wards and units to witnessed the ceremony which was coincidentally followed with the official inauguration of Udom Emmanuel / PDP campaign committees. In his address, the Nigeria Legion Chairman, Esit Eket chapter, Major Godwin Edoho appealed to the PDP led Government and the elders to accommodate its members in every activities, programs and projects designed by the government for the people. Major Edoho however on behalf of her members endorsed the candidacy of AKS gubernatorial flag bearer and total support for PDP in the forth coming election while thanking the local Government Chairman for bringing into reality a standard multipurpose edifice in the council secretariat. Speaking after the legion chairman, Hon. Deacon Ibanga Etang. my good people of Esit Eket, I must assure you that the President of the federal republic of Nigeria will continue to maintain a civil Nigerian despite the devices of enemies of progress and insurgencies because power belongs to God; I implore you to understand that all would be consolidated after the election. The chairman announced that Esit Eket will double from the 98% vote casted for PDP in 2011 to 100%. This he emphasized that Esit Eket has the electoral strength of over (42,000) legible voters as against 28,000 registered in 2011 Hon. Ibanga Said. The chairman further advised all to emulate the spirit of unity and harmonious coexistence as he cautioned all indigenes of Esit Eket to ensure they obtain their PVC which is the criteria for electoral legibility. I plead from all legible voters to elect all PDP flag bearer; I wont forget to applaud the State Government on its enormous achievements which have signposted the State as a cynosure for tourism and investment; the chairman added. Subsequently, the chairman of Eden Hotels, Elder Benjamin Udobia reiterated that consolidations will locate every supporters of Udom Emmanuel Governorship project. we are working together for the success of all PDP candidates in the 2015 election, it was God who brought out Udom for the people to accept as the PDP flag bearer; Esit Eket is inside the bedroom and I promise you all that there will be enormous job opportunities should Udom be voted into power as Governor 2015; while inaugurating the campaign committee, Benji Udobia, who is the DG. Of Udom Campaign committee in the State referred to the voters card as the greatest Weapon to use in ensuring Udom is made governor come 2015. Therefore, I implore all of us to re-unite and vote for Udom Emmanuel as Governor and Hon. Usoro Akpanusoh as State House member representing Esit Eket/Ibeno State Constituency Benji Udobia said. As the eulogies and support for Udom Emmanuel echoes, the PDP flag bearer for Esit Eket/Ibeno State Constituency, Rt. Hon. Usoro Akpan Usoh promised the people a legacy leadership, Hon. Usoro vowed to empower the youths and his constituents members effectively with great significance. I believe in leadership with effective legacy as a panacea for sustainable development and societal harmony Usoro Akpanusoh. Also presenting his speech was the SA to the Governor on project, Pastor. Isaiah Abia, the pastor turned politician quoted from the book of Isaiah 10:10 stressing that no negative plans shall prevail against the Success of PDP in the next election; as for me I am possessed for Udom& PDP, so join me and we will all reap Isaiah Abia said. The drum beats for PDP candidates attracted more ovations with the entrance of the PDP chapter chairman, Hon. Godwin Abia. Be involve in the arrangement so you can be among those to be announced Abia stressed. The ceremony witnessed the attendant of several youths and women groups making the ceremony glamorous. Etim Mark Edoho, marcualay Nyoho, Chapter chairman of PDP, Dr. Princess Ini Adaiahakpan, Pst. Moffat Eyo, PDP state Officer, chief Inyangette, Youth Council Chairman, Rotary Aniekan Akai and his Youth caucus. The ceremony came to conclusion with a closing prayer by Hon. Macaulay Nyoho who prayed God for the grace and mercy to guide them all through in the PDP 2015 project.
