NIGERIAN LIVES MATTER; AFRICAN LIVES MATTER Boko Haram is not just a problem for the people of Nigeria, it is a problem for all Africa. In recent months and years ordinary people in many African countries have been terrorised by anti-people forces. Boko Haram has crossed the colonially created borders to penetrate Cameroon, Chad and Niger. Other countries in the region should not be complacent. Sierra Leone never anticipated the spill over from Liberia that engulf the country. Other countries in Africa should not be complacent. In the last twenty years Rwanda, Burundi and the Democratic Republic of Congo have experienced internal and cross border conflict. The time is ripe for African people across the colonially created borders, particularly at the grassroots, to put thoughts and actions together towards ending: * the terrorism perpetrated by bandits such as Boko Haram, * the injustice inflicted by neo-colonial puppets in positions of power * the exploitation by foreign countries and international companies The time is ripe for African people across the colonially created borders, particularly at the grassroots, to put thoughts and actions together towards building a better Africa, which focuses on meeting the needs of the masses of ordinary people, rather than the greed of a minority African elite and foreign powers.
