NIGERIAS PRESIDENTIAL FLIGHT AND THE OMITTED ROUTES. If in a spate of 3 days our presidential jets can shuttle Nigeria, Namibia and Rome but cant visit Borno, Yobe, Kaduna, Plateau and benue in 2weeks then their engines must have been configured to do long flights alone or the pilots or oga at the top has misplaced their manual for short distance flights. If the president can tour kwara, katsina, nassarawa and the states where his friends have turned foes within 2 weeks but cant visit borno, yobe, benue, plateau and the war turned states where lives are snuffed out like that of chickens then something is seriously wrong. If our president can map out a tour of religious, traditional institutions and places he feel would score him political points but cant map out a way to tackle insecurity, corruption unemployment, infrastructure decay and poverty in the land then something is seriously wrong somewhere. Ultimately, if we can sit down to watch all these and either feel unconcerned, clap or leave things the way they are then something is seriously wrong with us as a nation too. WHEN WILL THE PRIDE OF BEING A NIGERIAN COME???
