NIGHT TRAIN later today at BJs Rock in Blues Club at The Minstrel in Chorley......this is the write up we got (before we go on!) All aboard the Night Train for a unique musical journey as it hurtles on down the tracks at express speed into a time warp of inspirational music that was the soundtrack for many of our lives. The band as always, fronted by Alec Martin shaman and musical visionary with a stage presence which taps into the counterculture of the late 1960s, brings an air of the unexpected with his voodoo cane and his distinctive vocal chords setting the scene to recreate some of rock & blues most notable triumphs. With faithful sidekick guitar man Wally Rumsey feeding the vibe along with Rob Pusey on drums and new four stringer Hadge Weller, be prepared to be catapulted into the front compartment for a first class ride as Night Train cross into the bayou of forgotten musical souls where this music still reverberates as a magical and potent force. Voodoo sticks at the ready for it’s almost Halloween!!
