NIGHTMARE. Greg is quoted in this New York Times article about the monster power lines that threaten our farm and the beauty of the Hudson Valley- People are rising up against eminent domain and the injustice of this proposed power line for New York City. The lines should be underground, not only because of the 100 year storms that happen every two years now, but because of terrorism, and to preserve the beauty of this place…They say its too expensive- but how expensive is it for NY to pay for the maintenance of these lines (yes- I am sure the electric companies would like those maintenance contracts!).
