NIKITA KHRUSHCHEV -- THE SMALL DOSES QUOTE - 1960 We cannot expect Americans to jump from capitalism to Communism, but we can assist their elected leaders in giving Americans small doses of socialism until they suddenly awake to find they have Communism. Ive been thinking about what is going on in this country for a a long time but quite a bit more since this is an election year. Ive seen some comments from people putting down American Exceptionalism, singing the praises of the Chinese government and how evil American Capitalism is. When Margaret Thatcher died not one person from the White House attended her funeral. Great Britain is supposed to be our closest ally for Gods sake! Contrast that when Hugo Chavez, the communist dictator from Venezuela died. This despot got an official delegation from the U.S. to attend his funeral. Is there anybody else that finds this troubling? Can you imagine how that would make you feel if you were from Great Britain, Canada, Ireland or Australia!? I guess with the number of communist sympathizers out there it should be no surprise.
