NITW - DISTINGUISHED ALUMNI AWARDS Suggestions from Alumni on or before 16th Nov. 2014 1.0 Introduction Our institute would like to introduce the Distinguished Alumnus Award program to honour outstanding former students and to celebrate their achievements. The purpose of the Distinguished Alumni Award is to recognize the institute’s alumni, who have made significant contributions to the society. The Distinguished Alumnus Award does more than honour its recipients. These awards are given for outstanding achievement and no compromises diminishing the significance of the awards will be made. The Distinguished Alumni Award is presented on Institute Alumni Day (this year on 26th December 2014), and cannot be conferred in absentia. Each award includes citation and a certificate. The following award categories and criteria are proposed. We request all the alumni to go through the contents and offer your suggestions on or before 16th November 2014.
