NIYI’S TALE: She heard his cry from the balcony where she was giving his sister her bath. The family was getting ready for the final burial ceremony of the father’s father. She rain with water in her hands into the room to carry her crying baby. As she touched him, she felt the current pass through her vessel. It was an electric shock. She was thrown away by the mightly claws of the currental tide. When she regained her sense, Bisi called for help with a lingering shout. With a breaking cry for help, she was narratin-pointing to the electric cut-out in the room. Sule did well to react to this quickly and Bisi ran back to grab her son. By the time she got there life had dropped his soul into a pit of stinking bones, his left hand was burnt beyond measure. His blood had been sucked by the physics made grim reaper but an iota of life still remains. Bisi cuddled her and wasted no time in running straight to the hospital. He was admitted and he would need blood donation for survival. Bisi had ran down over a kilometer with an unkept hair, a wrapper, an oversized shirt to cover the breast. Bisi wept sorrowfully, the family had ruined all their money on Niyi’s grandaPa final burial ceremony. When Olajide heard of this bad occurance that happened in his home. Bitterness stained his shirt and sadness poilshed his shoes. Sad stories worn out the soul of a fighter! Money was raised and Niyi’s hand was operated. He was 9months old when this incident happened. He was operated about 3 times after the initial one. Niyi grew into being a singer and a poet, infact, he is the writer of whatever you have just read now.
