NJPRO making an impact in the State House! On May 6th, Higher Education Secretary Hendricks mentions NJPRO’s report during a Senate Budget Committee: “I suggest we can spur breakthrough innovations, drive the economy and create new markets and perhaps even new industry. With this in mind and in response to the Building Bridges II report issued last month by NJPRO and InnovationNJ, Lieutenant Governor Guadagno announced the formation of a new council on innovation, comprised of representatives from the academy, industry and government to advice the state’s partnership for action on how industry and academia can better work together to enhance the state’s economy.” Listen to her full remarks at the 11 minute mark.
