...NJep WISU (for Njep Mbum) Against Njep Ya, Njep Tang and Njep Warr... WISU is the only Wimbum Development Association that knows every nuke and cranny of the Wimbum land before Google was ever created. Many WISUANS don’t consult the Google search engine to look for where particular villages are located or to find out if they really exist .Unlike WICUDA with all the well to do elites who thanks to the invention of Google have come to know their own villages and other parts of the community...And also thanks to Yahoo that many more have come to talk their villages and the community through the Wimbum Yahoo Group commonly known as the Wimbum Forum. And for some thanks to our national political calendar that they sometimes consult for the road maps of their own villages and others. We have more than 100 NGOs registered with head quarters either in Ndu or Nkambe but the Wimbum community does not feel the impact. Someone in the city and family are feeling the impact. Elites spend all their time online “Yahooing development”. Looking critically at the Wimbum forum it is not an over reaction to chose to call it “Wimbum Quarels”. It has become a forum where elites exchange words and showcase the sense of grammar, jealousy and blackmail more than showcasing the sense of unity and community development….Unlike WICUDA, WISU enjoys that unity that cuts deep across the community without clan distinction. There is no WISU as WISU WI-YA or WISU WI-TANG no WISU WI-WARR. What WISU as is njep Mbum» like .For the past 35years the association has remained so united and committed to developing the Wimbum Community. Through conventions WISU has not only been able to revive and sustain the culture and tradition of some communities, give scholarships, didactic materials, sensitize the population on some social issues but has also played a big role in stimulating meaningful community development projects around villages in the Mbum Land .Luh village this 2015 has become a grand chantier with the giant project being the multipurpose complex Hall to host WISU in August this year. Through conventions and sensitization tours WISU has explored deeply almost all parts of the Mbum land, Villages, quarters, families and individuals as well as Palaces, Churches and Mosques. The sensitization Tour on professional and vocational education carried out each year by WISU has made a remarkable difference in the lives of individuals in particular and the community as a whole. More than a hundred students of wimbum origin graduated from ENS AND ENSET Bambili . True we say an Elite is not someone who is well distinguished from his place in education or wealth but someone who is well distinguished for his place in education and wealth. International elites like Fon Abdou Bemsi from Bongom Villages, Mr Zito Tawe Ndofi from Binka, Dr Gilbert Shang not forgetting WISUs youngest matron and many others have continued to show their love for community development through their unflinching support over the years. Since Mbaa 2012 WISU has find it very difficult to rally support from the home elites most especially the CPDM elites of the Mbum land who were the biggest sponsors of that year. Following what was considered a protocol misunderstanding things have never been the same between these elites and the union. After all is said and done WISU remains an indispensable partner for any meaningful development in the Mbum land. All groups, associations and individuals charmed to develop the Mbum must stand with WISU .WISU is a leader .WISU knows the way and has gone the way. The Unions enlarge general exco meeting last year on the 30th of December 2014 was a renaissance meeting as the General president Mr Ngwan Derrick Tawe Nyah rightly said . The meeting that was attended by close to 50delegtaes representing the urban and and home Branches, the General EXCO , LUCUDA executives and some elites was chaired by the 1st deputy Vice President of WISU General Ta Nformi Ngwang Ernest in the presence of the fon of Luh.The overwhelming presence of the former exco, that is the General secretary, the financial secretary, the Treasurer the 1st Deputy Vice President and some advisers was a great boost to WISUs spirit of unity and dedicated Service. It also set a new pace in the challenges of transition that has plagued the union over the years as some the records of the former government was being examined in their presence. This did not only clarify some records which were vital for the continuity of the union but built relationships which are vital for the unity and progress of the Union in particular and the Mbum land as a whole. The WISU enlarge general exco meeting was a meeting many participants described as WICUDA enlarge exco general meeting in miniature considering the fact that it was planned and held a day after WICUDA was expected to hold the most awaited Wimbum Cultural Festival which was a failure. The student’s leaders and representatives gathered in Luh Village under the distinguished patronage of the Fon of Luh were more of statesmen than just student’s union leaders and representatives. When all has been said and not done for the past 5years regarding the Wimbum Cultural Week, they all expressed sadness, crying the beloved rich cultural heritage A rich cultural heritage that they have struggled to keep alive from village to village through annual conventions over the past 35years.WISU 35years old now and as the oldest and most surviving development association in the Mbum land has mastered and learned a lots that will not be a shame for WICUDA and other associations, groups and individuals to embrace in order that
