NKANA FC TRANSFERS Over the past few weeks stories have been on Social Media that Nkana has sold two players to Power Dynamos and that Nkana had sold Sate Sate to a team in SA and that Christopher Munthali has been recalled by. Power Dynamos. Well only one of those stories is true, Power Dynamos have asked for their player back. On the Sate Sate issue, its easy to understand, Sate Sate is still a Nkana player. Its disappointing that some of our media went on to publish the story without the facts. Some may argue that Nkana signed, but even the media reports dont add up. They say that Nkana signed a contract but that the contract was still under negotiation. Really? The simple thing people who have followed Nkana is that the team does a Press release involving player transfers, when Evans Kangwa left for Isreal Nkana took the news to the press with all the details, when Jimmy Ndhlovu moved onloan to Power Dynamos Nkana did another press release. Thats how Nkana operates. With that said the next part is that Nkana made a good decision to keep its best player. Only a few weeks remain till the AFCON. A good performance by a player at the AFCON raises his profile, in 2013 Sunday Mba shined for Nigeria and the virtually unknown player from Warri Wolves was priced at $500,000. Now already Platinum Stars Value of $70,000 on the lad is not even a serious one to begin with, Bornwell Mwape cost Amazulu around $150,000, and Bornwell only ever had one really good season in the ZSL ( 2013), so logocally Sate Sate who has had 3 stellar seasons is worth more. Ill repeat again, as Nkana it would be a dull club to sell him at $70,000 only for him to shine and be worth $500,000 and be sold by another team without him kicking a ball for them. That would be $430,000 free money for them. Luckilly Nkana FC is not a Kantemba ( Sidewalk Shop) club and knows the value of its players. After AFCON Nkana can sign a precontract with anyside for the services of its players who featured at the AFCON. After all players who simply feature at the AFCONs values go up.
