NLP Eye Access Cue Lesson Time! Thanks to Ivy Wood for sharing this news with me. Its great news this boy was found. Amazingly, the father was on national TV requesting help, when he received news that his son was found in a cordoned off area of his own basement. Calling all my NLP peeps: Time for some home-study. Check the accessing cues of this dad. LOTS of auditory constructed (future auditory accessing) -- glancing horizontally to his right (our left), with brief panicky accessing elsewhere including visual constructed (up right for him, up left for us) and auditory accessed (horizontal left for him, horizontal right for us). When NLPers see this much Auditory Constructed, we know theyre thinking something like What should or could I say now? Or, in the case of someone panicking -- WTF DO I SAY???? In this case, hes on National TV, he gets unexpected news, and he starts having trouble breathing, and doing a lot of auditory constructed eye accessing. Someone innocent would be more likely to display lots of elation over his boy being found, and ask questions about circumstances and details, confusion instead of shock about hearing it was in his own basement, not answering defensively about how he checked his own basement multiple times. Im not foolish enough to say with certainty that hes 100% the responsible party, but if I were investigating, I would use these access cues to direct my investigation towards provoking him into confessing holding his own son hostage. nbcnews/news/us-news/missing-detroit-boy-charlie-bothuell-found-dads-basement-n141351
