NMFS/NOAA announce availability of fishery management plan amendments for the BSAI groundfish and GOA groundfish FMPs. In this notice, public comments are requested and will be accepted until July 7. The proposed amendments add grenadiers to the ecosystem component category of the two FMPs. This action is necessary to limit and monitor the incidental catch of grenadiers in the groundfish fisheries. Instructions for submission of public comments available in the link below.
