NNONNOGC records shows that Peterson Zah was paid $53,000 to lobby - TopicsExpress

NNONNOGC records shows that Peterson Zah was paid $53,000 to lobby the council on behalf of Robert Joe and the shareholder representatives, plus support four shareholder representatives - Russell Begaye, Kenneth Maryboy, Mel Begay, and Charles Damon - When they filed a lawsuit in federal court after the Navajo Nation Court decision came out against them. Of the four shareholders two are running for Navajo Nation President - Russell Begaye and Kenneth Maryboy--what a shame. With all this exchange of NNOGC money - the Navajo Peoples money - it is shameful and disappointing. This also gives great rise to the reality that exchange of Navajo money to Peterson Zah must be the reason behind Zah endorsing Russell Begaye. Using NNOGC money, Zah, Joe and others were banking on Russell Begaye or Kenneth Maryboy in becoming president and all these payoffs would go away, and swept under the famous rug in Window Rock. The plan was a good one but like they say got caught with your hands in the cookie jar. Since we as the Navajo People are the shareholders of this company we have a right to terminate the individuals that are stealing from the Navajo Nation. Why does this happen to all the Navajo Nation projects; the egg farm, BCDS, Onsat, glove manufacturing company and the list goes on, the sad part of all this is that former and current Navajo Nation Presidents (Joe Shirley, Ben Shelly) were all a part of these projects and they are now asking us to vote for them. These individuals have no shame whatsoever and its the Navajo People who have to suffer. This must stop and must change!
