Cookies do not belong on the floor :( Nor do they belong smeared against the oven door, but when the hot pad that I just grabbed the pan with has a thin spot in it and I just about burn myself... that is exactly what happened. So, instead of using the spatula to lift them off the pan, I used it to scrape them off the floor and directly into the trash. The spatula went directly into the sink to be washed. What a waste of 16 beautiful chocolate chip cookies.
