NO KIDS RUGBY Rugby mums and dads...you get a lie-in tomorrow morning. Saturday morning kids and Manawatu and Wanganui secondary schools has been cancelled because of the terrible weather. Tomorrow’s feature premier match between Ruapehu and Pirates in Ohakune will still go ahead, unless conditions deteriorate further. But the match between Taihape and Kaierau as been cancelled because of the difficulties Taihape players will have in getting into Taihape tomorrow. For that reason, says Wanganui RU EO Dale Cob, the match could not be transferred to the Kaierau CC. The union’s council of clubs will decide the fate of the match. With the Taihape, Hunterville, and Marton grounds closed by the Rangitikei Council, the match between Marton and Utiku will be played at the Bulls Domain, while the Border-Ratana match will go ahead in Waverley. The senior match between Hunterville and Kaierau is also cancelled because of the weather and ground problems. The Utiku-Ruapehu senior match at Ohakune will go ahead, road and field conditions permitting.
