NO SEEDS, NO HARVEST Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap. Galatians 6:7 I know a story of a man that was serving the Lord, this man will go for evangelism and make sure all the activities of the church holds as he will ensure that people come and he will also hold forth for the pastor whenever the pastor can not make it. Despite this man’s piety, he was very poor. He do pray for finance, fast for it but he never got it. People that see him go for his church activities, pray and evangelize will sympatize with him and wished God will bless him with wealth but it never happened. This man’s problem was that he never gives for the work of God as he will always encourage others to give him to do it and he will complain ‘if I have I’ll give’ as an excuse for him not to give. No man that is living that is totally empty, every body has something. Each time the Lord makes us receive little financial gifts even if don’t have a job and the reason He does this is not for we to eat it, but for we so sow it. If you have a single grain of corn, you’ll be so foolish if you eat it seeing that eating it will never satisfy you. When you pray for harvest of corns you’ll be given some grains of corn and a farm to sow it, if you eat that grain of corns that should serve as your pathway to harvest of corns, you’ll deny yourself harvest and suffer longer in financial misery but if you are wise, you’ll sow and not eat your seeds so it is when we pray for financial boost, God first gives us seeds, shows us where where to sow it (though the devil will be asking to eat it), if we sow it then harvest is coming but if we eat out seed, then we ate our harvest as a seed. This man will eat his seed when some of his church member’s will give him little money, he will go and eat better food for that day and then continue in hunger and waiting for the day God will bless him which never came. Those that should wait for harvest are those that had sowed for it. You cant be waiting for financial blessing if you’ve not sown financial seeds into the work of God. The word of God can only bring money to you when you’ve for the spread of God’s word spent your seeds (money). God is not mocked, its when you sow that you reap and whatsoever you sow, you reap, sow finance reap finance, sow “God bless you” reap ‘God bless you”, sow “going around preaching in people’s house” reap ‘people coming to your house to preach”, spend for the gosple and the God will spend on you: God is not mocked.
