NO SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE (SLS) Another buzzword in quality body - TopicsExpress

NO SODIUM LAURYL SULFATE (SLS) Another buzzword in quality body care products is SLS (sodium lauryl sulfate) because it is a derivative of sulphuric acid, the same acid that eats through concrete….and it’s in so many products these days, it’s hard to keep track. Mostly, it’s added to products to make them foam (i.e. toothpaste, shampoo, body wash, bar soap, etc.) even though the National Toxic Encephalopathy Foundation said any use of this chemical MUST be followed by thorough rinsing and limited skin exposure or else skin corrosion and severe irritation can occur.
