NO SWEET EXCHANGE CEREMONY BETWEEN INDIA AND PAKISTAN ON EID AL-ADHA By : JAGMOHAN SINGH AMRITSAR - This time on sacred Muslim occasion Eid al-Adha India and Pakistan have not exchanged sweets at Indo-Pak international Attar/Wagah border here . Whereas, both the nations were exchanging sweets on many occasions every years including Eid al-Adha but this time both the nations didn’t indulge in sweet sharing ceremony. Confirming the development, Inspector General BSF Punjab Frontier Mr. Ashok Kumar said that it was decided last evening during the flag meeting with Pakistan Rangers who informed the BSF that following the orders of higher Authorities, this time Pakistan would not offer Sweets to BSF on International border. Kumar said that when Pakistan was not going to offer sweets to India, and in such circumstances India wouldn’t be able to offer sweets to Pakistan, since this time the role of India is to reciprocate Pakistan’s act.
