I dont care what you call me so long as you are kind to me. I am the most beautiful female white and black Australian Cattle dog/Pointer mix ... EVER. Im the ONLY ONE of my kind -- so you know you have the best! Im about 9 years young and even though that makes me a senior, it doesnt stop me from acting like a pup! Im about 40lbs and petite! I did have a home once so Im house trained and leash trained as well. I was found as a stray just wondering the streets, that is no life for a pretty and sweet girl like me! I love when I get to go on walks, looking around at everything is so amazing to me! Im dog friendly and people friendly! I love to hang out with everyone but I really like to look around and take in the sights, Im a curious girl! Id like to learn about you and hang out doing what you like to do too! Please dont make me stay here on the cold floor in a kennel alone. The rescue saved me because they saw how sweet I am, how well behaved and well -- they said Im special. I hope that means that once the have my ankle fixed (it REALLY HURTS) that youll think Im sweet and special too and want to give me a FOREVER HOME?! Ill be a REALLY GOOD GIRL and I promise to love you back. I wont care if you have bed head in the morning or if you put on a few pounds at the holidays. All Ill care about is loving you and you loving me. Lets do this -- okay? So, if you think that youd like to spend time sharing your life with me ...please contact Elyse 516-236-4376 or email inforoadtohome@gmail or Marilyn at ny1petscare@aol. I hope to meet you soon, Pink PINK: > LOCATED: LONG ISLAND, NY (at vet for the moment) - TRANSPORT is AVAILABLE in US for the RIGHT HOME! > Approximately 9 yo cattle dog/pointer mix, Female, spayed > UTD on shots and other than mass (being evaluated) on Rt ankle, appears healthy > Dog Friendly > People friendly and enjoys being petted > House trained and Leash Trained > Contact: Elyse 516-236-4376 or email inforoadtohome@gmail or Marilyn at ny1petscare@aol 11/03/2013 WEB MEMO from MANHATTAN ACC: A volunteer writes: Miss Pink was clearly catching up on some much needed sleep, curled up in a ball in her kennel much of the morning. When she finally woke and stood up, her signal that it was time to go out, I leashed her easily and out we went. Going as soon as she was out the door indicates shes likely housetrained. Pink joined us as a stray, and her pretty coat is in need of a bath. But that doesnt detract from her good looks; her face delicate and sweet, her pointy ears at attention. Her leash manners are good as we walk to the park. Pink is a senior, and has a small mass on her front leg, but walks well for her age, her pace matching mine. Ignoring other dogs we pass, Pink is alert and interested in her surroundings. Off leash in the back yard she sweetly acknowledges other dogs that stop to say hello, but is more interested in exploring the pen. As much as we would like Pink to take the time to relax with us, we would be much happier seeing her relax in a new home. She deserves to spend her retirement sleeping on a comfy bed, enjoying some good food and some love.
