NO WORK NO PAY Honestly sheer stupidity works in Nigeria. 1. It is only in nigeria you will get a group of doctors go on strike for the most stupid of all reasons, backed by their union, and when they resume, expect the employer to pay for the unworked for period. I will be damned! How, why, where? Just what then is d use of all d union dues you were paying? The union that sent you on strike WILL PAY for the period of strike! QED 2. Ask the labour in UK. That is how it is done. I stayed there and know how it works. The union asks you to go in strike and d period of d strike is paid you by the Union. The employer does not pay for undone work. 3. Instead of NMA leading its members astray, let d doctors or medical officers .. Take their grievance to the union for payment for the period of d strike. That is d law. 4. Alternatively, take the case to d special court established by the FG for such cases.. 5. When will our NUC streamline our medical certificates. The MBBS is no more relevant in d 21st century. The rule in international quarters is this ... U do a first degree in d relevant sciences before applying to do a medical course. That way, if you fail or decide otherwise, you fall back to your old degree. In nigeria, it is not so, so after 7years studying, if one if the bastard lecturers who has little or no home training decide to ficus on an innocent young lady .. Your guess is as good as mine. And .. Yes we have them .. A good number of these egghead bastards who have no home training. The only certificate they can produce is their plagiarised certificates and penis. Sheer idiots! 6. NUC is in Abuja ... Ever worried about government yearly grants. Shameless people. When will you act? 7. Your MBBS which is a combined degree in nigeria (bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of surgery) is never relevant outside d shores of Nigeria because you always have to read additional courses to qualify and practice! If u never knew .. Better know now! 8. For how long do we continue to be deceived by the NMA and for how long does the NUC keep quiet for its inability or sheer lack of knowledge. 9. The NMA is d only arm of union that has perfect members. In fact, any graduate with a percentage of 48-99% pass in d medical exams across the good, bad and ugly medical universities in nigeria still come out a MEDICAL OFFICER. Ask d consultants that take them on housemanship and d tales of horror u hear will make u cry. Some are sheer murderers not by training but by lack of training. Try asking a HOUSE OFFICER (name given to fresh MBBS graduates) of these universities together and confirm which one u will agree to, to attend to your situation if you have the choice of knowing which school churned them out.
