NOAH (2014): My first thoughts when this movie started was THIS IS ARONOFSKYS WATERWORLD, you know the huge flopbuster that Oscar winners do when budget is no object. The movie usually sinks at the box office and it takes a while for the director to get his feet back on dry ground. A great concept but flawed because there is very little pay-off, the money shots of the world drowning happen off screen, and the last 20 mins are pure cinematic excess. There was no need to drag out the agony after they found dry land. What could have been, CROWE AND RAY WINSTONE AND ANTHONY HOPKINS will survive this titanic flop, I am glad that Aronofsky did not make THE WOLVERINE. If he did it might have turned into this!
