NOBEL PEACE PRIZE 2014 - A win for the rights of young women and children Congratulations to the joint winners of this years Nobel Peace Prize - Pakistani teenager Malala Yousafzai, who was shot in the head by the Taliban two years ago for advocating girls right to education, and Indian childrens right advocate Kailash Satyarthi. Their efforts for standing up for the rights of young people should be an inspiration to all of us. Its also a reminder of how lucky we really are in Australia to enjoy some of the fundamental human rights that can often be missing in other parts of the world. Young people should always be treated with respect and Malala and Kailash are great role models in this regard.
