NONPROFITS – 6 FREE CONSULTING PROJECTS by MARATHON OIL CORPORATION & Executive Service Corps of Houston - ESCH – APPLICATION DEADLINE 3/14/14 – APPLICATION LINK BELOW. Marathon Oil & ESCH are combining their resources to offer FREE CONSULTING ON PROJECTS OF YOUR CHOICE. UP TO 6 WILL BE ACCEPTED FOR THIS PROGRAM. Every year Marathon Oil Corporation hosts the Marathon Strategic Leadership Program. The program targets high performing employees throughout the organization, both nationally & internationally & brings them together in Houston for 3 days. In this time, they focus on topics such as decision making, innovation, leadership, effective team work, & living Marathons values. As a way to give back to the community, Marathon, host a community service component, in which their employees & ESCH consultants team up to provide free consulting to select non-profits. This year this event will take place on Thursday, 4/10/14. Selected participants are paired w/ ESCH consultants & Marathon employees to develop a plan to address an existing issue the nonprofit is facing. Examples of recent ESCH consulting projects include: policies & procedures & financial policy review (CARENET, Houston-Galveston Institute), clarifying strategic priorities (KSBJ), continuity of operations during an emergency (Krist Samaritan) among others. This 1/2 day event is great opportunity to receive one-on-one consulting tailored to your organization & its needs.
