NOPE! Were certainly not going to need to worry about fire danger this spring. Getting washed away down into the BIG Lake, maybe, from melting snow and spring downpours. Hopefully the area here in the northland will have the snow melt at a slow enough rate so we dont have that challenge. Yesterday we traveled into GM on the Makinbutter Highway stretch in the Land O Hov area. Im not sure why the highway department spent all that time and money on putting in rumble strips. Who needs them. I cant imagine anyone falling asleep on that stretch of the highway to end up in the other lane. Getting tossed over there by the bumps (and soon to be potholes), maybe! Its not the time of year to come home from the store with a carton of whipping cream in the back seat of the car, thats for sure. Unless, of course, you like homemade butter. Who needs a butter churn?!?!? Checked my new batch of homemade sauerkraut I started yesterday. Its getting a nice layer of juice to start the fermenting process. Blessings! :)
