NORE-PLY - Typically, this comes in an email form of No Reply when businesses , etc. send you advertisements and want no reply......meaning, communication is a one-way street. Well, I have a friend I started to refer as NORE PLY for the same reason. Obviously, he is apparently no longer my friend, but the name fits, therefore is. NORE is a sandbank in England (so far-far away)....so is my friend, but not that far away. NORE (urban dictionary) is short for Noreidimir is a person that is very nice, loves to talk with people and is extremely sociable PLY is a layer (as in plywood that is moulded and glued together). So, my friend, you are a NORE-PLY because your surface layer is of a person who is social as long as you are social in a certain group of friends....wife approved, of course, therefore you have no friends of your own, but her friends only....heavens forbid you have a friend to call your own! So, NORE-PLY. Continue to show your different PLY layers to each person you meet. Some day, I hope that you will decide that YOU CAN BE YOURSELF and not feel you HAVE to adopt the same PLY layers as your wife, You were not created from the same board or the same tree. Some day, maybe you will once again find the PLY layer for me as a friend, but I have a feeling that it is buried, burned, pretending it does not exist...invisible, so to your wife this PLY does not exist. That saddens me. If your wife is jealous of a FEMALE FRIEND, then that is HER problem, but then, that is YOUR problem, which became MY problem didnt it? LUCKILY, I have a husband who is not jealous of my friends....male or female and does not control me. I can have my own thoughts, opinions, wants, and needs...and get this...my own friends, too! He and I DO NOT HAVE to share the same friends....Imagine that! Niether of us have nose rings and paraded around with a leash! Rant over, but still pissy. ha ha ha ha h
