NORWAY —Craig J. Grover, 25, of Norway was also charged with failing to submit to arrest or detainment, disorderly conduct and endangering the welfare of a child, according to Officer Rob Federico Jr.’s affidavit. According to the affidavit, Federico was approached by a friend of Grover’s, who had Grover and Grover’s nephew in his car. The friend said he received a call from Grover’s nephew saying Grover was drunk and made him walk in the breakdown lane of Lake Road. Arriving at the scene, the friend said he saw Grover pushing his nephew toward the road and the nephew was “almost hit by a car.” Federico said in the affidavit that when he approached Grover to ask if he had been drinking, he became combative and was arrested. Grover was still in custody Tuesday evening with bail set at $250.
