NOT AFTER THE FLESH “And that He died for all, that they which live should not henceforth live unto themselves, but unto him which died for them, and rose again. WHEREFORE HENCEFORTH KNOW WE NO MAN AFTER THE FLESH: yea, though we have known Christ after the flesh, yet now henceforth know we him no more” (2Corinthians 5 vrs15-16) Christianity has become our tradition and our culture since we got born again. CHRIST and HIM ALONE defines who we are. 2 days ago as I watched TV I realised that it was world Lefthanders day. The presenter started to give elaborate findings on how left handed people are more intelligent and how that they make up 15% of the world population. One of the striking statistic was that all of the 5 guys who built the first Macintosh computer were left handers. Then my mind was fascinated about that and I even started to look at the things I could be limited in because I’m a right-hander. I even looked forward to the prospects of having left handed kids. Then the presenter said however all left handers have the shortest Life span. Then again my mind was drawn to think of all the left handers I knew including my young cousin and I felt sorry for them. Then the Holy Ghost said to me, ‘STOP RIGHT THERE, KNOW WE NO MAN AFTER THE FLESH’. All other description of Humanity that is not based on the Word of God does not hold water on us because we are the NEW CREATION. Some might say whites are better at business than blacks, blond girls are not soo intelligent, or women are impatient or even say all white people are prone to cancer. My aunt said to me all men from our family are womanisers and I was afraid I was going to be one for some time, up until I mastered this truth. If any man be IN CHRIST! Any description based on the colour of our skin, nationality or village of origin does not hold water now that we are In Christ. When we were not born again these could actually define us, you could die young just because you are a left hander or you could be less intelligent because you are blond or you could never do well in Business because you are black. Thank God Jesus died and He rose and now henceforth know we no man after the flesh. The new man IN CHRIST is a wonder, Alive to God and the Holy Ghost has become the causative to all that we do. The same Spirit that rose Christ Jesus from the dead has now quickened our mortal bodies. So if intelligence was based on colour of hair or left handedness, we smile because we are above that. We know none of the New Creation after the flesh. Apostle Paul would say , to God Jew or gentile , male or female does not matter but THE NEW CREATION. If any man Be In Christ, what matters is are you In Christ? If yes! Then that settles it. We are immune to all limitations that are found in this world. The gospel we carry is meant to be heard by all nations and God has given us all that we need to deal with the entirety of Humanity. We are born of God and we carry the very Life of God in our members. Ohoo Glory to God, the Life that I now live is Christ who is living in me. I’m Alive to God. AFTER ALL AS BEEN SAID AND DONE JESUS IS THE LORD OF OUR IVES AND STARS NEVER STOP SHINNING. [email protected]
