NOT ENOUGH SUPERLATIVES TO DESCRIBE VALARIE. Doesnt matter though, she got her reprieve yesterday. Now, she needs a miracle. WE are that miracle. A volunteer writes: Talk about respectful....each time I passed Valaries kennel she stood up and came forward as if asking, is it my turn now? Each time that it wasnt she lay back down quietly to wait. I was thrilled when it was finally her turn as I couldnt wait to meet this gorgeous, quiet girl. Shes been beautifully taken care of, her weight is perfect for her size, her coat lush and well groomed and her personality friendly and easy. Her tail is in constant easy wag mode whether its hopping up on the bench to sit next to me, posing for some pictures, or greeting two small dogs who stopped to say hello. Her easy sweet energy is a delight and a nice reprieve from other higher energy dogs. She comes when I call her, sits on command and sweeps treats so gently from my hand I barely feel her. Shes affectionate but not over the top, respectful and waiting for an invitation to snuggle before doing so. When I walked around the pen taking some notes she stayed by my side, and when I talked to a staff member on the other side of the gate she showed no reaction to the small dog on that leash. Calm, lovely, sweet natured, gently affectionate, well behaved......these are only a few of the words I would use to describe Valarie. After you meet her I know youll think of 100 more. Dont make her wait long to meet her new family....ask for her today. PLS SHARE/RESCUE/PLEDGE/FOSTER/ADOPT VALARIE
