**NOT GRAPHIC** Dear ones who are on the animals side and speak up for them, my friend, Marilyn Guerins, daughter, Kelly Guerin made this 2 minute video of animals at a small livestock auction (no slaughter / not graphic ). I watched it yesterday, and cant seem to get it out of my mind. Its one of the most powerful, moving, awakening pieces Ive seen. I thought you might like to watch and share this video. I think it has the potential to awaken many hearts. Please share. Karyn Swaney wrote this about it: There is not a drop of blood in this video. There is not a single death shown. There is only the bleak reality of being a commodity in a world run by brutality. There are so many sad aspects, but one of the saddest? That so many people not only deprive them of their empathy, their compassion, their knowledge of any human kindness…they will also deprive them of even WANTING to comfort them, even WANTING to help them, even WANTING to recognize them…simply by refusing to even SEE them. Sincerely a tragedy, an injustice and stain upon all of us. Personally I feel honored and privileged to be strong enough to bear witness, even in sadness and desolation…it is far better than being unfeeling, unknowing, uncaring, untouched. It is also comforting that some of us – the decent and kind – mourn their loss and consider them with moral value. I care about all beings. I have compassion and empathy for ALL. I desire no unnecessary pain or harm to come to anyone. I can easily and happily live my life without contributing to the suffering, therefore I am both thrilled and enthusiastic to do so. I LOVE being vegan – more than anything in the world I love being vegan - it is the most important facet of ME, the one thing that best expresses EVERYTHING I am and EVERYTHING I want to emulate. In such sadness I somehow found such love and happiness. Be brave. If you can [eat, wear, use] them, you should at least be brave enough to SEE them.
