NOT because IM a Veteran of the Vietnam War, but for the others, and the sacrifices of life, limbs, family (especially through PTSD) by being separated for months upon months, and even in some cases, years, which they endured, I write this plea to all who will take the time to read: The BEST way to honor our men and women of the military, past and present, is to exercise your right to vote.....a FREEDOM our Veterans have fought to preserve. PLEASE vote for the candidate who SUPPORTS our Veterans in ways of not cutting post service time programs such as the Department of Veterans Affairs, education, and mostly, the GI Bill. IF you havent walked in the shoes as our men and women of the Military, you have THEM to thank for your freedoms which most take as granted. Support those who preserved our way of life and our liberties, by voting for the candidate who is Military Friendly. Thanks, and when you see those you hold dear, tell them just how much you love them and need them, for life IS a very short time when it comes to looking at the Big Picture.
