(The West has about 2 weeks supply of oil at any given time. So if you think about fuel, plastics etc 2 weeks our economies would be at a standstill.) They both hate the Saudi royal family because as Islamic fundamentalists they believe that the royal family has sold out to the West. They also dont believe that the Saudis are suitable guardians of Medina and Mecca because of their hypocritical Islamic behaviour.
