NOTE the CAUSE :( This is the latest information about the Doce Fire from the Prescott National and U.S. Forest Service as of 4:30 a.m. Wednesday morning. SIZE: 7,051 acres, 0% containment LOCATION: 8 miles northwest of Prescott; burning near Granite Mountain Recreation. The fire continues to be active with winds pushing the fire north into the Williamson Valley Corridor. CAUSE: HUMAN!!!!!!!!! THREAT: Several hundred homes, but nothing lost yet. CREWS: 512 firefighters, 2 Type 1 air tankers, 2 helicopters, 10 crews, 10 engines and more resources being called in, including a Type 1 team that will take over the fight Wednesday. EVACUATIONS: Granite Basin evacuations, Black Jack Drive area evacuations, American Ranch and Sundown Acres evacuations. Neighborhoods on notice in Williamson Valley and Iron Springs Club. TERRAIN: Remote, rugged terrain, urban complexities, heat, wind, mix of fuel, grass, sparse brush up to higher country with thick chaparral and pines.
